Do you want to support individuals to live their best life. We are recruiting self-motivated and enthusiastic night support worker for 18.5 hours a week, providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities or physical disabilities and need high levels of physical care within their own home. You will make a difference to the quality of a person’s life by supporting them with their daily living and night support. Which can include intimate personal care: showering/bathing, dressing and undressing, assisting with toileting, along with administering medication and support with meal preparation, night time routine and to enable individuals to be safe throughout the night. You will have an understanding of the importance of social inclusion, promoting independence and enabling positive life choices.
If you have experience of working in a care setting, have provided informal care and support to family or friends and understand that a person is at the centre of the care and support being delivered and you have a willingness to learn and develop your skills, then we would love to hear from you.
The waking night duties include working weekends and bank holidays on a rota. For further information about the post please contact Kim Finnerty or Debi Saville Supported Living Service Team on 01924 302680.
