We&©re looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to join our Peripatetic Service AT Sherwood Court, Wakefield. This vital service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, delivering high-quality care to people in their own homes.

About the Role

The post is for 24.50 hours per week

You&©ll work on a 4-week rolling Rota, including:

• Morning shifts: 07:00 - 15:00
• Evening shifts: 15:00 - 23:00
• Salary 25,583- 25,989 (FTE)
• Weekends and bank holidays (enhanced pay rates apply)

Your role will include:

• Supporting individuals to remain in their own homes
• Promoting independence and person- centred care i.e. Washing/dressing/Bathing/Toileting/Meals & Medication
• Working collaboratively with professionals and agencies
• Treating every person with dignity and respect

Essential:

• GCSE Grades D$úG in Math&©s and English or
• Functional Skills Level 1 in Math&©s and English

Desirable (but not required):

• Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

Don&©t have the Level 2 qualification, No problem! We&©ll provide full training and fund your qualification after successful completion of your probation period.
