We are looking for someone who champions the customer at every click - internal and external - in the development and delivery of all digital communications and online services.
Wakefield Council need someone to make this happen. Someone with a compelling digital vision and understanding, along with the skills, experience and dedication to make it get it done. Successful applicants will have good knowledge of digital communication channels, an understanding of SOCITM and relevant customer experience measures. Your knowledge will be excellent in the relevant website standards, including accessibility and meta data standards. You will know how to gather and use customer insight to develop and improve online channels, as well as advanced knowledge of content management systems.
You should have experience of working in a customer focussed environment, marketing or communications and be experienced in managing a team to deliver a project, maximising skills and experience to best effect. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with people at all levels are essential.
