The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Building Control , excellent communication skills and a can do approach . You will have a positive attitude to team working, be customer focused and business oriented. Starting salary will be commensurate with the skills and experience that you bring to the post.
You will carry out the full range of Building Control activities and will organize your own case load effectively.
An awareness of safety at sports grounds legislation would be desirable but not essential. A full, clean driving license and use of a car is essential for business purposes.
The role offers a full range of local government terms and conditions including flexible working, pension and access to further qualifications based training funded by from the Council's Apprenticeship Levy.
