Two posts have been created to increase the capacity for chairing child protection conferences in Wakefield and District. The successful applicants will be part of a team who are committed to a culture of learning and development. You will bring experience and skills in identifying risk and developing robust plans which are child focused in collaboration with families and other professionals to affect change and address risk.
This is an opportunity to develop a restorative approach with families and become an influencer within the organization; Influencing social work practice through supportive links with teams and collaborative quality assurance and audit work with social workers, influencing and linking with other agencies and having an influence on the outcomes for children by engaging families in developing plans that change parental behaviours and reduce risk.
