We are looking for an experienced communications professional to take a lead role in our fast paced media relations function. You’ll have excellent media management experience, ideally with established contacts in the regional, national and local Government media. You must have a strong news sense and understand what great news worthy content looks like and know how to plan and deliver this.
You should have experience of working in a communications, PR or marketing team and the ability to manage and deliver a front-line reactive and proactive media service. One of your key strengths will be using social media effectively as part of media relations, communication campaigns and activities. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships as well as influence and negotiate with people at all levels are also essential.
